Kawasaki Ninja Zx10r, Linus Hofmann (3D)

Title: Kawasaki Ninja Zx10r
Name: Linus Hofmann
Country: Ireland
Software: 3ds max, VRay

This is a project I have been working on for the best part of 5 or 6 months. Its a cg visualisation of Kawasakis Ninja ZX10r motorcycle and I did it to improve my modelling and rendering skills. Modelling done using poly subdivision surfaces mainly and used only photo reference for all my work.
Please check out these other renders of it aswell

Other Renders

It was extremely fun to do and I loved the challenge of modelling such a complex piece of machinery to the best of my abilities.
I am very happy with how it turned out but of course there are many things that still need to be fixed, which due to my limited time towards the end of the project were simply forgotten about or not tweaked enough.
Some stats:
Polycount: 5.2 million (thank god for vray proxy...;))
Render time: Averages about 5-6 hours for the 1600/1200 renders.
Object Count: 653 seperate meshes.
Well thats about it hope you enjoy looking at these renders as much as I do...:)

ITS HERE! ITS HERE! ITS FINALLY HERE! I've been waiting for the final shots and they're amazing! 5 stars all the way... you should make a shot that shows all the work you did that hidden under the body panels.

Just incredible. That's one of the most detailed images I've seen in some time. Gosh, just no words. Five stars.

I think you know how much i love this bike already lhnova.

Hope you'll have some free time soon to get a scene done for it, the studio renders nice, but this model seriously deserves an awesome scene to go with it aswell.

10 stars from me.
