Had alook at the site too, great work Dude! love your style I dread too think how your work could turn out if you start to manipulate photos into your projects! and have you ever used BodyPaint2? its amazing for texturing, try it out.

I'm totally blown away, this is top notch stuff, I never got into game character low poly modelling, and this makes me want to give it a's not always about millions of polys haha but man, your pics are already in my reference folder, thanks for sharing with us this amazing work.

Follow the null and you will find the answer...

I've got some print screens of "how I work" to build up detail, I'll post them tomorrow when I have access to them, I away from home right now.
Yeah its bitter sweet to leave low poly/texture behind me but its all good, now I get to play with 2048x2048 res and massive poly bugets too!

..guess I'm like a kid in a candy store right now!

Great work eoin.

I like the fact that you chose to paint the textures rather than photo ref. Helps define the style.

Great work Eoin! You said in an earlier post you'd be posting some screens to show how you work with your texture painting, the build up of details...Do you still plan to do that? No pressure, just curious to see your methods behind such nice stylized texturing.

excellent works, you should seriously thinking about adding normal maps to your models, it'll enhance the look unbelievabley...

I really don't know why such a commercial game like Goldeneye don't use normal mapping/specular mapping, but hey, that's not your fault. You were assigned this task and it was executed incredibly great. Those are among the best game texs I've ever seen

EDIT: oh I guess it wasn't for PC, that's why there isn't normal/spec mapping
