Great work. Good Poly count also. I thought it was high poly for a second. Did you use the new Normal Mapping feature?

Very nice! I like the texture detail and the cleaniness of the UVs! Pretty cool design as well! Well and no more crap from me

Looks good for the amount of geometry used.

The only thing I really don't like is on the soldier guy... His entire arm on the right side of the picture creates a straight line which really ends up making the left third of the picture dead space, really kills it for me. Everything else looks nice though.

If i'm not mistaken, you're the guy that got me started into character rigging, back in the Jedi Outcast days, so thank you!

I can only hope to one day attain such high quality in my own work.

Polycount Represent!!


No normal maps guys, just low poly meshes and diffuse maps. (although I think it would be great to have some decent normal maps I dont have the time or inclination to create them for these characters - hopefully my next project though.. )

The samurai/japanese influence is perhaps there.. I didnt intend him to be any sort of samurai, I just knew that I wanted similar shapes around the legs.

seven6ty - good point!

Psyk0 - yeah that was me, I did the Jedi Knight 2 tutorial wayback. I remember your modelling too, didnt you improve on my tutorial at some point?

hugo.m - these are my personnel characters, not work related at all.

sweet. I was amazed whe I saw the mesh for the soldier, and even more amazed whe I saw u didn't even use normal maps. Nice job.
