Playfull Bear, Dennis Alba (3D)

Title: Playfull Bear
Name: Dennis Alba
Country: Philippines
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop

I based this image from the stuff toy. I used editable mesh for the whole bear and the environment. Shag Fur was used to create bear's fur.

Nice Work

Hi, Mabuhay! Glad to hear there are Filipinos posting here. I just found about this site a week ago and everythings good in here. Anyway, here are my comments on your image.

1. Lighting is quite bland. Also the shadows are quite simple especially the blocks. They look like they were composited separately in Photoshop. I would recommend putting the lightsource in a different direction.

2.Love the wallpaper on the walls. It really shows that this is a kids room. Nice Idea.

3. I see you used a reflection map on that red&blue toy. There's nothing wrong with that except that the reflection map doesn't really fit. Anyway, that's my opinion.

4.Carpets nice, except for some parts of it get blurred especially the portion on the right.

5. Fur on the bear isn't dense enough. I could still see the mesh of the bear.

All in all. Nice work. Itaguyod mo ang talento ng Pinoy!
