Very nice, great lighting.

I wouldn't mind seeing it without the flair though. I'm not sure that it needs it.

Very good image. Looks almost photoreal to me.

My only comments would be maybe darken the background a bit (mainly at the top) and perhaps make the flare a little smaller. Wouldn't the light/flare reflect in the eyes more?

Great image anyway...

Great fish! I like the flare... but the lower jaw takes away from the image overall I think. They could still jut out, maybe just not so much as that. Or maybe it's just me

Wicked. Yeah, take down the flare a bit. And I agree also with Mezza about the jaw.

Thumbs up

Love the particles in the water!

The flare is a bit too bright for the amount of light being reflected, but I dig the fact that it's extremely bright. The near-supernova-style flare combined with the exaggerated details of the fish really make this scene seem more dramatic to me. I'm not to big on the standard Photoshop-style stock lens flare, but I like that it's explosively bright.

The back of the fish looks like it was forced depth-of-field (blurred in PS), but it helps to focus the scene to the front.

It may not be completely realistic, but it's damn cool.

nice image i love the style of it. it does look photoreal. do you have any wireframes? or maybe just some none texture or painted images of the fish. my favorite part is that it could be something that could actually exist because of the fact that the water creatures are so uly and are nothing like anything in the world
