Wwii B-29 Bombing Scene, Albert Robles (3D)

Title: Wwii B-29 Bombing Scene
Name: Albert Robles
Country: Usa
Software: Maya 5

I modeled this scene using Maya 5. It's a street in a Japanese neighborhood during the 1940's with US B-29 bombers flying overhead. This was my final project for my begginer's level modeling class. I would like to get into environmental modeling, so any and all comments will help me greatly!

Hi, it reminds me one scene from great anime Tombstone of the Fireflies. I like this pict. Maybe the light is little bit sharp, but i gives to the picture the right atmosphere.

Great ambient! I think you should make more detailed B-29 to use in the foreground and the low poly ones in the back. Agree that textures need improvement

Keep it up!

It has an exceptionally mood, but IHMO the aircrafts need more details. They're obviously low poly models. I dislike the rotating propellers as well, they should have more transparency.

Many thx for the many suggestions! Texturing and lightning has been a downer for me on this project. I sort of took a crash course in it during class. And yes, the B-29 is low poly, I hope I can revisit this project as I progress in my studies!

The B-29's seem to be flying way too low. Also it seems they might be all flying at the same height; it would help if their heights are randomly arranged (this one I'm not sure about). Overall, its a great pic.

I really like the modeling, and that sky is absolutley gorgeous. Nice Job. All I would do, and of course this is a personal prefrence, is make the bombers less clear. For Example add some haze/fog. I would also make the bombers much more green (they look too blue/silver). Once again, Great job!
