A Green Man Portrait, Tripnfall (3D)



Title: A Green Man Portrait

Software: Maya, Poser, Photoshop

The model and texture came from Poser and were heavily modified in Maya and Photoshop. The hair was created by a friend and me. The Render is mostly straight Maya with a little mental ray for good measure. Also, I did a far amount of post painting in Photoshop.

it's a nice image, but i'm bothered by the fact that it's a modified poser model. that, and you have some severe UV stretching along his neck.

hmmm.. what green man could this be? the face model looks really good. although he seems to be aurally impared. i also though this particular green man would be more enraged rather than look like he just took a big bong hit.

Very nice...great character work. I don't know why some people have problem with using poser for a base mesh, but whatever...you've done a great job. I agree with Markski about the ears being a tad too small, but that'd be my only tweak. Keep up the great work.

If you didn't do your mesh from scratch charting out your vertices on graphic paper first than you are teh suck!!


Heheh, seriously though, this is an awesome work looks just like the movie hulk. I think, you mentioned poser just to mess with people Looks great to me, and I can't tell it's poser - it's not a naked plastic lady

Nice job on the "Hulk skin texture."
The ear looks a bit squished to me, and hair-style looks a bit like it was done with a flowbie, but overall I think it's very "Hulkish."

Thanks for all the feedback.

Markski In regards to the expression: I gave Hulk a more traditional portrait look. He is lacking in emotion in order to resemble a Rembrandt painting.

Webhead flowbie, giggle

Also, I have included a lightened version. I think my home monitors are set way to bright.
