Amerigo Vespucci Ship, Francesco Puccini (3D)



Title: Amerigo Vespucci Ship

Software: Maya 5.0.1

I've tried to create a photorealistic scene having the boat as "main character"; I've used a real wooden model as reference for the ship and I've created the textures taking photos from the real model. The picture in the painting and the reflected one the in the box's glass are real painting in my home taking by photos. I'd like to any type of critics you wish to make.
I've use Maya 5.0.1 for everything and I've rendered using mental ray, and at the end I've made some retouch with Photoshop

Why didn't you simply take a photo of the real ship then?
Everything is from a photo.

No but seriously nice work.

great work man...

does it have a pillar in front of the light source or something?

and i think the table lloks kind strange, maybe is just me

But it is a great work, very nice model
