Satisfaction, Seger (3D)

Title: Satisfaction
Name: Seger
Country: The Netherlands
Software: Cinema 4d R8.5, Photoshop

Some of you may have seen this one somewhere before but I thought I'd introduce myself on CGTalk. I've only become a member shortly. And I'm not having enough sleep already.

I'm constantly trying to defy the borders of character animation and this is an example: I rigged the whole thing, made Posemixing hands and mouth but by the time I wanted to animate a couple of sips and some chat it had become absolutely top heavy and workflow crawled to a stop. I decided to put myself out of misery and call it a still.

If I can stop myself from reading all the new threads I could finally get some new work done. There is some absolutely stunning illustration work out here.

Looks great only the smoke itself is a bit hard.
I'd run the smudge finger over it a bit in photoshop to get it flowing.

cool concept of what is bad for you make you enjoy it nevertheless..

I would have thougt it might be another kind of cigarette coming from the Netherlands

Do you have a very weak computer? this model should not be that much heavy to animate in C4D...try to animate it with the hypernurbs off, and with your viewport quality to low, and anti-alias to none, for your tests. maybe?
