Thankyou everyone for your replies!

Idi: As far as I know wing mirrors were optional - I've sure seen lots of pictures of Dino's without them.

tomaa: I've not documented anything, although I have all my incremental saves so writing a tutorial wouldn't be too hard.

qur: Alternate views and wires are on the way.
Mezza550: I agree there is something strange going on with the reflection on the hood - cutting all the holes in it made the mesh quite complicated.

Savage_Henry: The scene is very simple indeed - just a dome for ambient light, a glowing plane for highlight and let Global Illumination take care of the rest

Awesome modelling and render. Nice subject choice too.

So... thinking of doing a tutorial? I for one would be forever grateful. Even if it was just for surfacing, lighting and rendering (I've been playing around with modelling in LW for awhile, but haven't done much in terms of surfacing and rendering)

Hi LB,
Great Work! I too am interested in the way you have set up the reflections and lighting. When u say "just a dome for ambient light" is that the same as a skylight in max? Is it just the one glowing plane? A wire of the whole scene would be great. U have done a great job it looks really good!

Thanks again for the comments!

I have had a number of requests for information on the lighting and reflections used so will try to put something together soon explaining it all.

In the meantime here are some additional renders...

I just love those front lights, even if it isn't a lamborghini

  08 August 2004
Hahahahaa! I think you need to get that Lamborghini out of your system Wiek - When you going to model one?

  08 August 2004
lamborghini?????? Wiek you should be ashamed of yourself for uttering that word in this thread. This thread is for the appreciation of LB's gorgeous Dino... not for swearing in

love and respect
Ozzy
