Who Are You?, Tarun Sharma (3D)

Title: Who Are You?
Name: Tarun Sharma
Country: India
Software: 3ds Max And Cat

Was just playing around with one of the character I finished for my short film..just tried to get a feel that the kid is surprised and a lil scared to see some talking magic bird in a magic jungle..

looks good so far

one crit:
the woods are highly textured and bumped, the character and the box not at all.
if you wanna show that they are from another world or somthng than keep it, if it should be one scenery than you perhaps bring them a bit closer together

He'll have the short done tomorrow, folks. Calm down and be patient.
I wish I was more sorry for my English.

hey tarun...nice work..
though the difference in textures does bother me......looks like two styles were put in one image...the character looks like hes been composited into the background......and seems like theres a heavy use of GI but only on the character and box....coz cant see any shadows hes floating.......
and about the tree a second glance they do look maybe u should randomize them a little.....
ok...i'll stop bein such an a** now...nice work overall....cya
