what might make it look a bit more like ice is if you had stuff behind it that would be distorted by the ice. and imperfectly at that. THAT would look real.

Nice shader, It is really hard to judge ice if it is not moving...it is the relating properties of the surface that make everything hold together.

Keep up the nice work.
