Corridor, Andy Walsh (3D)

Title: Corridor
Name: Andy Walsh
Country: United Kingdom
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay

Created in 3ds max and rendered in Vray as a personal piece.

Stock image used:

One of the most useful techniques used for this piece was the use of texture-based low-poly modelling. So I would start with a photo of a door for example (mapped onto a plane), then slice it and extrude until the door looked three dimensional. Very useful for added realism.
