After over 2 years of work, I finished it and is a pleasure to me show you this video and some promotional images.

But poor ground kill all impression :(

you put so much effort in this piece of animation, and for sure you are a very skilled artist.
still you did not quiet hit the point.
I am sorry to speak in direct words, but you are telling a story that is very hard to watch, for it is missing true passion.

First of all it is hard to connect to the main character. He is very nicely made, still we cannot grab him. He has so many layers of animation that it is very hard to understand what emotion is driving him. One moment he is silent and romantic, the next he is jumping and running like a young dog. Thats confusing.

Same for the old lightbulb. By the end we can guess that there is a deep connection between the two characters, but this is only done by using some cliche pictures on the wall.

I am really sorry to be critical, cause I know how much work runs into a project like that.
For sure you learned a great lessong - technicaly at least. Dont be put down by my words, but next time take more time for story, script, animatic, camera layout to be sure to tell a story worth telling before you take this hughe effort.

All the best from a college who also constantly fails and learns.
