Hairy Old Man, Jose Alves da Silva (3D)

Title: Hairy Old Man
Name: Jose Alves da Silva
Country: Portugal
Software: 3ds max, VRay, ZBrush
Submitted: 28th January 2013

I made this character portrait as personal work.
It was sculpted in ZBrush and rendered in 3DSMax with Vray.
I hope you like it. :)

Here is an almost full resolution detail. The final image was rendered at 3535x5000pixels.

Lovely character, it holds up well at a high resolution.
My only crit would be that you have a wonderful character, but no real story going on in the render (ie, would be nice to tell a little more story in the background)

It would also be cool to see some over exaggerated expressions on his face! Almost crazy.

Great work, I'm a great fan of your work!

Very nice work in every respect! There's a good balance of cartooniness and realism.

The reflection of the sky light in his eyes is just too .. wonderful .. well done

And maybe the light behind his ears is too strong?

But very good Art anyway
