Thanks for all the nice comments, folks!

Pnoodles - I hope so! Not by me though - i havent animated for about 7 years now.

andrepazleal - I just use 3Ds Max's default Biped rig - nothing special. Its easy to use, quick to set up, and does what i want it to do. For Penny though, i set up additional bone chains to control her skirt.

As long as it takes! Because this is a personal piece, i take however long it needs to take. In Penny's case, it probably took the equivalent of 6-7 days.

I just discovered your work recently and they are wonderful! Where did you learn to model? I'm a student and I'm having a rough time looking for a good class or workshop..

I tought myself slooowwwwly back in the days when there were no courses, tutorial videos or online guides.
