Blue Eagle - Shot 2

Blue Eagle is my final project at Vancouver Film School for 3D Animation and Visual Effects program. This showreel realistically depicts the Bf-109 Messerschmitt airplane which was used during WW2.

Special thank you to my parents for their never ending support during this intense 6 months project!

The most sincere thank you also to Joshua Ng (lighting) & Artem Palchevskiy (compositing) for the excellent team work within the project and to all of my great classmates in 3d94.

Modeling and shading has been done in Maya, UVs in Maya and UVLayout. Gunsight's back part proxy was done in Maya and finalized using Zbrush. Textures has been done using Photoshop except the gunsight's leather part, which has been hand painted in Mudbox. Compositing in Nuke and rendering using Mentalray.

All constructive comments are most welcome, although mainly I would like to hear comments about texturing.

Thank You!
