Male Portrait, Artur Tarnowski (3D)

Title: Male Portrait
Name: Artur Tarnowski
Country: Poland
Software: 3ds max, CINEMA 4D, Photoshop, VRay, ZBrush

So here's the finished version of the character I've been working on recently. I used 3ds max for scene setup, zbrush for sculpting, texturing and hair, vray for rendering and photoshop for textures and compositing. I also used topogun for retopology and cinema 4d for some minor tweaking and modeling, for example the eyes, eyelashes, lacrimal fluid geometry etc. That's because I'm more familiar with c4d than with 3ds max.

Feel free to comment. :)

Very realistic skin shader, almost like a photo!!

i agree the skin and the whole face looks real

the only thing, in my opinionm that ruins the realism.. is the hair...

good job overall

High skills never ends!
Ultra modeling and texturing Artur!
and nice lighting too but I think it could be better without PP?
Anyway good work

Thank you.

hoodedpython - that's really cool, thanks.

I have redone the hair, so I'm posting the new version in the first post.

Good work, especially with the materials and texturing. The one thing thats throwing it off for me though is the space between the edge of the eyebrows and the top-outer area of the eye. It feels like either the eyebrow is too high there, or the skin hanging over the eye is too low.

Anyways, congrats on this!

Top notch quality. 5*.
The second attempt at the hair is better, yet under these lighting conditions I would expect slightly more specular highlights in the hair. Another remark I have is for the neck area, where the texture seems slightly stretched.

However, beautiful work!

Amazing work..^_^

Amazing work. There's something wrong with the specular, but i can't quite put my finger on it.
