Johnny Cash, Bruno Jiménez (3D)

Title: Johnny Cash
Name: Bruno Jiménez
Country: France
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay, ZBrush

The one and only Johnny Cash.
I've first started this piece as a speed-sculpt but I thought that this could be the opportunity to spend some time to test some lighting, shading and hair creation.

I love this! I love that it's not completely photo real, but I don't think that's the point of what you were going for. This looks more like a painterly portrait and it looks fabulous! Great job w/ the eyes, hair, and facial modeling!

The only gripe I have is that the ear looks too flat and lacks the depth in the inward spirals of the ear lobes. It also looks the most "CG" in terms of the shader (too plastic-y).

PS Random but, In this shot, he shares a lot of facial similarities, I think, w/ Kevin Spacey.
