This is a student table top project, and its pretty much the first fully rendered scene ive done, so i need lots of criticism.

Wellll. Maya is my favourite tool-good choice.
try to make metalic surfaces more shine using glow and its treshold atribute
-the desk is little bumpy for me
-you can use some dirt textures to make the shaders look realistc
-and maybe some mentalray could help to light the scene

But keep trying-and be patient. Nice work

I think the scene might look a little better if it had more contrast of shades, and colours. Pretty much everything is really dark.

i posted an update, the table texture is fixed, i also added depth of feild, and fixed the pipe
