I'm definitly in, but I'm quite the beginner in Maya and I don't really understand the concept of spec and bump maps, and how to implement them onto a model.

So my entry may be quite limited, but I'll see what I can pull off.

While I can't really see needing 3 512 maps, it does sound like fun.... I'll throw down some concepts after lunch.

Question How to petition

Wouldn´t it be extra nice if someone out of the kindness of her/his/its heart would post a kind of tutorial/how to:

Low poly modeling

Normal Mapping

Alpha Mapping

etc....?

I think it would be EXTRA nice,

P.S. IF there is already such a tutorial please refer us to it since I haven´t found Any and I would very much like to participate in this contest.
