Concept Sketch: Dogapede - Sniffer Beast

My concept goes along the lines of what a future DEA or Customs agency might use instead of sniffer dogs.

The Dogapede is a pair of hapless dogs melded together with machinery that can be deployed without being chaperoned by a dog handler.

Cheers Bigkrull,

I'm debating whether to do a more polished 2d concept before going further or diving straight into modelling?

I'll have to look into the rules and see if the quality of the draughtmanship of the initial concept has a bearing on the final entry (anybody know?)

Modeling: Late start on modeling

I know it's late in the contest to be modeling but I thought I'd submit this instead of suddenly submitting a large amount of previously unseen work (famous last words =]- )

I started these paws in Maya but took them over to Lightwave. I'll probably model the organic 'flesh' parts in Lightwave and the 'machine parts in Maya.
