Texturing: Base Color Texture

Layed out the UV's for Kermit's real body hehehehe... Started the textures just base color right now to make sure I have all the seems matching up nice and clean. Will start the layering, building up of color and detail tomorrow.

that goggles are really great..
i like the realistic frog u done first.
the mechanical legs are looking good. maybe some springs or hydraulic engines (?) will increase the feeling of buoyancy.

keep on up, thats a good concept

Thanks everyone for the feedback....

Witcher... yes I plan on adding a bit more detail once I get the textures on, and depending what I can do with a bump map as well. How's your 2d challenge comming? i'll drop by=)

ParadiseFlyBird- I love the goggles.... I was worried about them at first but I think they work... My wife likes them two.

My biggest thing now is deciding what to with the mech parts on his back end....make them crome so it would pick up forest colors around him or just dark green/black... ( i usally dont do hard surface texturing heheheh) I'll figure something out.

small update

Still adding layers of color starting to make him look a bit more fleshy. Bump map should be started today some time...

Lot more color layering added the strips on his side... time to work on the bump map a bit... then I can go back into the colors and add spots and maybe some dead skin near the back where he joins he mech parts. Spec map will be done last

Texturing: More Skin Work

Played a lot more with the color much happier with it... Now I can add some darker spots veins and a nice spec map....
