Too Funny... how a few people all came up with a similar idea about using a frog. There is one person also in the 2d challenge that has a similar idea as well... Im just glad that I have posted my first frog sketch up the a day before the other 3D frog concept was posted.

Hah, looks like you even used the same pic for reference while drawing that frog
![]() Kurt, your model looks great but I'd have to agree with Azazel's comment - the sketch has a nice cartoony feel while the 3D part of the project seems to be moving towards photorealism. If I were you I'd treat that current model as a very solid base and modify it a bit. You could try exaggerating it's most characteristic forms, making the frog bloated, adding more muscles to it's legs etc. I'm gonna wait for the mechanical parts to show up though - a skinny frog bound to a huge machinery piece would look pretty cool as well. Keep up the good work ![]() |

Witcher thanks bud.... I'll try adding the mech parts to see how he going to look.... The I can make the decishion to either go photo or more cartoony.
I can see him both ways a really nice photo real with him sitting on a leaf or branch and one where he is a bit more exagerated in his looks... I checked out your 2d frog yesterday looking sweet=) Kurt |
