so, where'd you get the ad photos from? nah, JK!!

Simply astounding realism you've achieved here!!

DIMO, very well done!!

I started a thread seconds ago asking if anyone has access to 2002 CL500 and CL600 blueprints...
You obviously have great source material... any plans you can throw my way?

I would have given it a 5 star rating if not for the missing lens flare and the chrome teapot. :P

Flawless render congrats.

Talking road trip

Alll is fine but youre well over the speed limit bud!

And on the second picture the cars seems to have a red dot there on the car that looks like reflection from a traffic light!

Some Data

Thanks for the excellent rating!

Just some info on the pictures:

As some of you have guessed, I had access to CAD - Data. So the credits for modeling go to Daimler Chrysler. Although the Mesh had to be cleaned up (stitching patches together etc.)
Missing parts (lights etc.) were modeled with Subdivison Surfaces.

Final Render has been used for rendering. All Shadows are baked into texture maps. No raytracing was used. Everything with reflection maps. So rendering was really fast and it doesn't flicker in the animations.
