Character: Animator Guy



A long time without posting anything for here...
Well, this is the Animator Guy (old WIP, remember?) that I was developing for my short film WIP. The head is finally done.
I was invited to an interview in the only specialized CG magazine here in Brazil: Digital Designer. I sent this image in high definition for the magazine, trying to put it in the cover of edition.

Please, tell me what you think, ok?

I used to work with a guy that kind of looked like that..

It's looks great.. kindof scary in the amount of detail though..

this eyes, with the soft ripples on the surface, the cheeks with the reflections from behind, nad all those beard-bumps

this is like a caricatur on a human skin ... toping the reality

Incredible detail! I must ask, what size are your maps? I don't think I've seen textures that held up that well so close. Do tell love the lighting also, [Plugged]

consider me inspired!

I think as he mentioned on cgchat.com he use 3000x1500
