not only is this an awesome image, and an amazing concept, but the jester can also juggle balls!!! WOW!! lol. the tutorials you made about how you created the jester were amazing and i suggest everyone watchs every single one, its pure gold and alex has revolutionized how to teach computer graphics!

hey Alex, great design and atmosphere - makes me think he is a slave on some interstellar zoo where he performs with his props. Perhaps his species has incredibly agile hands/fingers for doing tricks? I'd love to see him animated doing something along the lines of Bowie's character in Labyrinth.

Anyway 5 stars from me of course

Visually stunning liberties with physiology. -By the way, thanks for the eyeball tutorial on the 3D world CD an issue ago. Your instruction is superb.

He'd be a great plaything!

Bit dark though in the sense that some more light on him (I'm assuming it's a he, probably not a good thing to do) would enable me to see more details.

02.22.08 - OK, I withdraw my comment about it being dark! Turns out my laptop display needed adjusting, so now The Jester is just perfect! And I can see all the details with no problem!
