Every so often a user comes along and displays such incredible work that you yourself would like to try their software. And my friend that you did, C4D is quite impressive I must say but anyhoo other than the fact that all the drones have the same pose (maybe they're all linked to the same remote ) its fantastic! Did you use bodypaint at all?

BTW your work is fricking astounding man

You have received the CGtalk choice award .Please feel free to display this image anywhere you like! Incredible work.

upon receiving this award, it guarantees you a spot in the cgtalk gallery hall of fame - which you are now placed

P.S. Please email me @ tito@cgnetworks.com for the award .psd file

holy crap a lot of replies on this one since yesterday
hehe cool cheers for the award, I 'd like to thank..

all textures were made using C4d's procedurals, I found I didn't need to use bodypaint for this one

I like the second one

the second one really pops out at me. I guess the higher color values and small details that can be seen more promenently make it look a little more alive. I really like the style you have acheived with this peice. good work

Cool work Squidinc. Nothing much to say that hasen't been said, but I agree that the forground one pops out form the rest. Maybe having something in the foreground, or some background element that's between the focus of the main creature and the ones way in the back.

back to work

I like the first one way better! It has a better mood to it. More creepy, the blue lighting contrasts with the glowing eyes in the first one.

Anyhow, excellent work.
