Very nice work! I dont like a lot of concept cars because they just look like A**, but this is brilliant - I think the point of a concept car is to create something people would want to buy and drive, and you've done that with me!

i have seen this in the contest
and i voted for it
imho it is the best design in the contest

This design is 'certainly' close to being the winner (top 3 from any standpoint).

A few of the other designs did catch my eye for one reason or another (HoneyB, Flux, Share) -- but sooo many of the contest designs are unworkable from a suspension, cab safety, center of gravity, or powertrain standpoint. At least with today's technology.

On the other hand, your design looks fairly realizable as a roadster. However, in order to 'get' to the area you've indicated in the winter render, I'd imagine it would need an additional few inches of ground clearance and perhaps another inch in the rear wheel wells. But the clearance issue appears to be cosmetic. You've obviously pushed the ground clearance aesthetics to make it feel like less of a buggy. This works very well and makes the overall design appear even more stable/solid to a potential buyer.

Love the roll cage integration. Also love the fact you're not relying on a completely 'futuristic HUD' and have some gauges in there. The dash has everything. Well, everything but an iPhone dock. ;-)

Replacement parts are gonna be a b!t(h for this thing!!!

Just had a look at the other entrants - I agree with gamdeveloper too... The only other one I really liked was cub, but those rear wheels are YUK! I think your design is also the most complete - on the whole, the others dont show any decent interior shots, or the mechanicals. I hope you win, And I REALLY hope peugeot bring your car here to Australia when we have the Melbourne Motor Show You got my vote!!

I guess people should start give no damn about the practical part when designing cars in the future and when it's on the table they'll have to remake it totally for safety purposes and so on. Saying that the practical part doesn't go in on the concept is pure bullshit. It's a car, it's something that's supposed to be used even if it's just a concept, and making a concept of a car that has flaws just pulls the concept down. So instead of making it practical in the concept in the first place is stupid I guess so the people who has to make the final version of the car has to rework it all over again.

To me it's important that both the aesthetically and practical part exists in a concept of a machinery. The aesthetical part to make it look good and the practical part to make it feel real. So saying that it's out of place? Well excuse me for wanting some realistic aspects and immersion with the concept.

Quick question: How does one get in and out of this car? I'm not seeing it. It appears you'd have to remove an external panel and crawl though the window, then have a second person reattach the window.
