Guanajuato Alley, Eugenio GArcia (3D)

Title: Guanajuato Alley
Name: Eugenio GArcia
Country: Mexico
Software: Lightwave 3D, Photoshop

hi everyone, i want to share my first work of the year, inspired in a trip
to Guanajuato México, i did this image, is an alley of that Old Mexican City
its a great city, if you can you must visit it.
i took 5 days to complete it, i basically work on lightwave 3d and i did the
textures and final composition in photoshop cs with a wacom tablet.
i hope you like it.

Happy new Year :D

very nice work, mate!
It really IS something: to finish such scene in just 5 days. I know it isn't very complicated yet it's still a big plus to work fast. keep it up!
there are some nice warm colours, especially down the alley. Have you been using LW's built-in radiosity or just faked the effect? How long did it take to render the whole scene?
The only thing that bothers me are that lines/cables between roofs, which look a bit too much stiff. maybe second building could be less saturated also.

other than that - very decent work!

*the only thing that bothers me is the reflection on the windows on the right side, the rest is well executed..lighting, textures...the plants are awesome!

Finally some architecture that doesn't look artificial. Good job and good attention to details.

I like it. The lighting is fantastic, textures are great...except the bottom part of the left wall...a little too much bump, IMO. But overall it is a excellent image, very warm

Hola Eugenio. Really impressive image. My parents are from Guanajuato. I visited a couple of times, but didn't spend enough time exploring it. Congrats on the frontpage plug!
