White Teeth, Jonathan Simard (3D)

Title: White Teeth
Name: Jonathan Simard
Country: Canada
Software: 3ds max, mental ray, Photoshop

I wanted to push a little bit more the type of character I make. At first, I design it with legs and arm, but I decide to erase it and try something new. On my past picture, the mouth of my character was close mostly, so I make this one wide open :).

Its a mix between "fou du roi" and squid on a candy cane. I don't really know. In fact, I had no particular focus for the type of character I wanted this time, I just experiment thing. Made in max, render with mental ray and color correct in photoshop. Comment and critic are welcome.
2015 Demo reel.

This looks great. IMHO, bit harder to read because of darkness, but I do like it!

excellent work. So stylish as usual. But I must agree with oweron for lighting even it makes the teeves more white

Hi guys! Thx for the reply and comments. Ill try to post a high rez later. I try several thing for the color (darkness). With too bright background I lost the feeling of it. I ve got a trick that help me a lot when i work too much on a character. When Im not sure I make a mirroir , that way you see a complete new character. So every time I was changing the darkness I made a mirroir to see if I get lost. We get lost a little with time one, but I like the feel of it, so I keep it like that.

Btw : Thanx for not bashing the ugly boring title
