Inter-dimensional Predator, Greg Petchkovsky (3D)

Title: Inter-dimensional Predator
Name: Greg Petchkovsky
Country: Australia
Software: 3ds max, Digital Fusion, VRay, ZBrush

This started as a challenge with m@ here
Neither of us really finished the challenge, but it was still lots of fun, and both inspiring and intimidating to see each others work.
I've finally gotten around to making this more polished image, but its still not everything I meant it to be (I wanted to make the body, and an environment).

I was pretty strongly influenced by a painting by Dave King, and by Japanese sculptor Takayuki Takeya.

That is utterly fantastic!!! This is the most realistic looking thing I've seen in a while. Great job!

Very impressive! There's so much emotion in the eyes. I can't quite read what he's thinking but you know his mind is on something!

Excellent!
