hello,

hello. first, thanks your reply and interest.
the hair was made in photoshop , i didn't used real photographs. i think her hair is not real .last year i couldn't study about 3d and plugins. Cuz i was soooo busy. if it was made by any hair plugin, it would be better.. after study hair plugin i will remake it.

and it was made it in V_RAY and 3dmax6 and photoshop. that's it.

thanks dude bye~

Just wanted to ask you how you do your hair on the girl, is it real photographs of hair mapped onto the 2D Planes, or is the hair made in photoshop?
How do you manage to get it looking right?

Wouldn't mind a quick tutorial as I am modeling my first 3D Girl right now and I really want to know how to get really nice looking hair?

BTW what lighting do you use in max, VRAY, Mental RAY or Photmetrics

Brilliant job, Congrats again

Cheers Jonno

Hey Jong thanks for info on the hair, and I look forward to achieveing something nice in photoshop, and also a with VRay or Mental Ray.

Its great knowing I don't need to use real hair photos to acheive realistic hair.

Thanks again for your reply and good luck with your future posts on CG Talk.

Cheers Jonno

Dancer

Pro photographers always place an eye light under/over the camera so eyes always have a reflection. If possible, use a linear light set at 0-10%, place at camera position to generate eyelight hi light.

All the best,

Michaelangelo

How about this critique - my wife was looking at this with me and told me, "okay, you can't look at HER anymore!"
