Interesting work...

This works remember the paintings, drawings and engravings of one of my favourites spanish contemporary artists: José Hernández.

These works are from him:

Life is too short to be wasted in front of any screen.

Well, you did a pretty good job

However, they are not very original...pretty much straight off the surrealist formula -- pick an organ, combine it with some trees or bird I think you should try to be a bit more creative.

It's ironic that this image showed up here on cgtalk. I was just thinking about the need for some images that could be taken seriously in the 'high art world'. I come from a fine art background- classicly trained as a painter; so to come across these images tells me that the future for the 3d/digital art medium we all enjoy so much, can REALLY be taken as relevant/contemporary art. I hope that we can all take this piece and see the potential we can offer to the world, we should look father than space ships and monsters in our visual language, its only then that we can take on the world at large. Just imagine creating an image that provokes the thoughts of the masses. Imagine being an Warhol, Piccasso or Rembrant. Imagine changing the way people see the world around us. It may seem silly, but it is possible...

In other words, this image we see before us, is stunningly superb, worthy of being shown in any hip art gallery. The need for this movement is far over due.

Just something for us all to chew on....

To reveal art and conceal the artist is art's aim.

This is a beautiful piece. I'm curious which side you thought about creating first, because while the heart is just as well composed, the brain is much more compelling to me.

Anyway, I agree with the previous posts, it's refreshing to see things with meaning rather than solely being technically impressive.
