Beauty, Reiv (3D)

Title: Beauty
Name: Reiv
Country: France
Software: 3dsmax 5.1

I've tried to make her beautiful and alive, that's all.
I've used Shag hair for the hair and also add filters to adjust brightness/contrast and color balance.

well you definatly reached your goal if you were going for beautiful and alive...although the face looks odd to me like and un natural flatness to her face, maybe extrude the nose and mouth out a bit more?

Soon2bAnimator, i think what gives it the flatness is the upper lip by itself only...

reiv, you nailed it..it's amazing..alive and beautiful

Technically speaking, the model textures and hair are great. But personally, i don't feel atracted to her, as she seems to be near her forties, her face doesn't have any distinguishing prettyness factor, like fat lips, perfect nose, or entrancing eyes e.t.c. Also the greenish hue is not very flattering i think, a warm lighting that enhances the flesh colors might do the trick better.
Nevertheless good job!

Dammit! you are the master of making nice lookin CG ladies faces!
Great work as usual, but a few comments:
If youre trying to make her look happy and alive, i think the green tint is making it look creepy and 'matrixy' - use warmer / brighter colours.
Those chain / plait thingies coming from her head are too easily confused with the hair and make it look wierd. Again, this might be because of the all-over green tint.

oh my goddddddd..........master of CG pretty girls agreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Beautiful and alive? Yes she is! I also like the way u've presented her, composition looks great and effective! However, i found the picture just a bit too green... Maby not contrasted enough, according to me. But the result is realy nice, and, even if we concider ur past works, u don't have to be ashame about this last one!

question: did you paint over a photo reference? or did you use a specific photo pose for reference?

WOW great work. Not that I falt the use of green my self, but I would like to see the model in more normal light and some difrent angles if posible.

Hmmmm.....I think that I might have to disagree here.....There are attractive qualities in all ages and sizes. Pretty does not equal fat lips or perfect nose, I think he captured a mood here and that's really whats pretty to me. I tire of the usual "pretty" features and lighting...bringing some new tones and perspective is just great by me! Good job!
