My first post: Character Model Geo



Hi there,

This is a piece from Seda: X, an independant video game project being produced by *Liquid Moon Studios. It tooks me 4 days for modeling, rigging, weighting, texturing, and lighting.

Good job! Reminds me of Blanco from the old street fighter. 4 days is pretty good!

I think you should adjust the left arm band though; it makes it look like his arm below it doesn't match up with his arm above it because it doesn't follow the curves. Maybe from a different angle it wouldn't be so obvious.

wow... looks great mang.. Im glad to see you finally posted something on CGTalk. you should post some of your other works too... like some of those cars.. and that harrier, and the Mer-mech if you still have it. But ya... looks awsome... you should post some wire frames and maybe some prieviews of the textures. looking foward to more as usual. :P

First of all, amazing piece of work! This model has so much character, love the concept as well. 4 days??? Oh my god...CRAZY!!! Here are some minor areas I think u should review:

- The texture on the nails, age it a bit, give it some dirt map
- The glow in the eyes is very cool, but maybe reduce the glow size a tad
- The hair looks a bit too plain, give it a nice shader maybe, forget about texturing each hair hahaha

Once again, I LOVE this model, hope my 2 cents helped a bit!

Hey Good Man !!!!!! I think it's awesome !!! Are you going to model all the characters for Seda X2 ????

Just a small comment about it... I think that the wicked expression doesn't show too good on the model, it looks more evil than crazy evil.

Btw... What's the poly count on that ?

4 Days for everything That is Dam nice.

The model is sp close to the concept its scary really nice work!



A few things i noticed , dirty up his teetb, make his hair more shiny, maybe less glow in his eyes and itll be perfect !

Cant wait to see more work from you man keep it up!

It's for a game so shaders are out of the question on the hair (maybe ya missed that part). Other than what's been said, good job, and great work. 4 days is pretty close to what a character goes through in a pipeline from creation to finish. Good job.

Before reading the messages, that was what I was thinking too. Blanca, from Capcom's Street Fighter games. The rest of the commentors sums what I wanted to comment. I could not spot any imperfections in your images.

Does that only apply to ingame models ? Cause i think this would be more for cinematics. Jus wonderin
