being a fan of How To Train Your Dragon myself, I find this utterly awesome. Vikings and Dragons, what more do you need.

really captures the look and style of the film.

it's amazing, the whole image is just fantastic, especially all these little details, like the dandelions.

Hi there!

I'm really glad for the plugged, thanks Leigh!, it's always an honour.

Thanks for the support to all of you.

Gherrera Hi mate! how are you? Well, I don't know how long I took me to complete the scene because I always worked at my spare time. I started it long time ago, after I purchased the Art book from the film.(I guess a couple of years ago. ) When I finish the Viking (first pass), I left it until I decided what should I do with him. After some years I thought it was the right time to finish and improve it. That is very common in me. I'm doing like twenty personal projects at the same time and I will finish them when time is right, so I have time to follow through with an idea, changed it or even leave the character because it is not good enough....etc.
At my new second pass I changed some proportions, starting texturing...etc. and I thought ey! why you don't do a dragon? ey! why you don't do a scene with both?...and here we go...

That is simply phenomenal. I love the little peach fuzz on his tunic and his hands are amazing too. The details are astonishing considering it doesn't go too far either way in realistic or stylistic, but more perfectic.

This is so great... love the style, poses are nice, expressions on their faces, texturing lighting, everything just fits together perfectly. Maybe background is a little bit overexposed IMHO, but that can be very subjective judgement.
