Amazing work! The detailing is just amazing! The angel kind of looks like Gandalf from lord of the rings.
Congratulations on such great work!

Great work and awesome skills in Modeling/Sculpting/Texturing etc. But some bits and pieces I don┤t understand quite.

First thing that popped into my eye was the fact that an angel was playing against the death. Why? Wouldn┤t the actual and appropriate counterpart of an angel be "the" or "a" devil? Since the grim reaper is not always seen as something entirely bad and evil. It "just" brings death. There are lots of stories e.g. Harry Potter and the deadly hallows - The Tale of the three brothers for instance, where the third one goes with the death as a good old friend.
So IF the grim reaper would represent the evil it sounds more like that its obvious that he dies and its just a game of where he goes!
If its the game of death, maybe it would have been clever that the old man plays against the death himself? Maybe his soul?
I know what the intention was, im just triying to show that there might be some issues with the story.
Second thing that I have realized was the condition of the room. Since this is the LA Hospital, and assuming its our time, its pretty dirty and it seems that the old man does not have anyway any chances to survive ! So maybe its a bit too dirty, I don┤t know.

Don┤t want to be too picky, these were only some things that came to my mind and I wanted to share. Its still a great piece and I think a well deserved Choice award!

I agree, the characters are somewhat confusing. But incredible attention to details and the amount of work invested is just... wow!
