Inspired by old sci-fi movies and the art of Ron Cobb.
Modeled in Maya 2011, textured in Mudbox and rendered with Vray, compositing done in Nuke.

Wow, this is really pushing all my 70s sci-fi buttons! Just awesome. It's only a tiny bit disappointing that you didn't do the same chairs as the Cobb illustration, but these are suitably 70s/Space 1999 style and look pretty cool. Nice work!

i love the colours and models, but i think that camera angle/view should be more wide.But it's really 70/80 sci-fi mood!!! Excellent job

looks great, like the design and execution alot.
only one thing, the seat could be more round in the leg area.

thanks everyone for the nice comments! Im glad to hear you like it.
Made a few grading versions before I decided to go with this one, the brown/yellow grade
felt like the way to go. And it made the carpet blend in more.

@hris: a wider framing would be kinda cool to tryout!
@Kzin: the seats looks kinda uncomfortably
