Absolutely Wonderful

I am enjoying this painting very much. The lighting is fantastic, and the composition is perfect. I was somewhat curious as to how many layers were required, and if possible if you might be able to give me a small walk through of how you wen't about the painting. Again, I really enjoyed this, inspired me quite a bit.

this is one of my favorite images ever. the characters, the colours, lighting and the stories that the image evokes.

love this piece, the colouring and layout is great, so many different characters. Wooden sword really presents it as a childs imagination great work.

Congrats on the frontpage

Beautiful work and great lighting. I would like to know, if you use any dummy 3d objects to have a oriantation how the light behaves.

...and thanks again for the nice speech at the living games festival in Bochum. It's allways interesting to see other artists in action but that show was amazing
