Notice: Challenge system bug/issues report
Hi all,
We are conducting the Alienware CG Challenge using a newly developed challenge management system that integrates CGNetworks and CGTalk. If you have any problems with using the system (e.g. uploading images, etc. and finding that it doesn't work), please post it here and we'll get onto it. Thanks, Leonard |

Features to add:
- Page spanning - From JDex - "Can you add the CGTalk Nickname to the info next to the images, I think it is really cool using the real names, but it would be great to see that info connected to the entries as well." - "Update Challenger Details" - for miscreants who didn't give their real names :shame: - "Modify/Delete Challenge Entry" - for mistakes during entry process - Take latest entry and put it in the first post. |

I think it would be cool if the system inserted the most recent entry image into the automatic thread opening post... then it is easy to see what the person submitted most recently with out having to go through the view entries page or scanning the thread...
After three months these threads will be getting very long. Thanks __________________

Can't Post Messages
Alright, maybe I'm an idiot, but I swear there used to be a a little field at the bottom of the message page that let you post attachments. It's not there anymore, in fact, it says that I'm not allowed to post attachments under the forum rules.
Am I missing something obvious here? Thanks, Chuck __________________

In your viewentries.php file, looks like when you made your query you forgot to use stripslashes().
http://www.cgnetworks.com/alienware...&challenger=348 There it says 'Guess what I\ve...' instead of 'Guess what I've...' It could just be this persons typo, but it's highly unlikely. |

Unable to post entries
Hi,
I just tried to post an image that was borderline 150k, and the board objected. I slimmed it down and it gives me a different error. I'm hoping that the 150K limit is per image, not your total(!) Cheers, Steve |

Re: Unable to post entries
Hey Steve
150k is per image. Please note that because of different filesystems, 150k on Linux is not the same as 150k on Windows - block sizes are different on the filesystems. So yeah, aim to get it 5k under or more. L.
