my ram is only at 512, and my videocard isnt even compatible with maya. Having a computer like that would feel like owning a small metallic/plastic/sylicone god. I'm sure there is rubber and other stuff in there somewhere too. I bet I could render like five times faster with it.

I don't think that entering a contest consitutes commercial use, it is personal use afaik.

hmmmm ... mods not allowed to enter and no 2D entries ...

What are we supposed to do for the next 3 months?

Old 10 October 2003   #23
I was just wondering, can the setting include the actual One Man Screaming Out? Or is this an environment challenge only?

Just wanted to be sure.

Awesome contest. It's going to be alot of work

Give us amazingly helpful and insightful critiques? Start a betting pool on who wins?

I was under the impression that the image was supposed to be what the viewer sees, but I'm not completely sure.

Hey Kirt, cant you mods just post a new topic in the challenge subforum and participate without going through the actual entry process.

Maybe give it a subject of:

Unofficial Mod Entry: (Real Name)

dunno, if Leo is cool with that or not, but I am sure that we would all love for you ladies and gents to participate and inspire as usual.

the poor animators.. this is what we get for having such a low turnout last challenge!

Ah well, not much of a environmental modeler but I'm gonna give this my best.
