Concept Sketch: The path of the beam leads to the end of the journey.

Okay, I know it's a bit late to start now, but no-one ever achieved much, if anything, without at least

trying...
These are my concept drawings for my submission.
(My scanner's glass broke today, so I had to use my digicam to get these online.)

Obviously some post-camera work had been done in Photoshop.
The tower idea is inspired by The Dark Tower series from Stephen king.
(I actually based the tower in the image on a drawing done by Bill Mudron.)

I'm not completely sure as to how much my final project is going to differ from this concept, since I

have a pretty good idea that some elements might be added or removed as I progress. (That's the point,

isn't it?)

It's as If I can see the final product in my head, and I just need to MAKE it...!

As for materials...
I intend to use rather 'weird' textures (duh), but the believability thereof obviously needs to be

extremely um... right? (Can't think of the correct term!)

Modeling: Modelling example

I personally think that what can be modelled at this point, is pretty much done.
(For the tower at least)
The rest of the detail and ambience is going to come out in the mapping and post-production stages.

And I forgot to mention in my previous post, any comments are more than welcome!
