My Show Reel - WIP

Hi,

Here, I present my Show Reel WIP, just starting this project with some Bullet Dynamics and Fracture. My first time using both.

Hi, Here is my first Bullet test, as a wireframe animation. I am currently rendering the full animation. More soon.

Vampire Tomb - Bullet Dynamics Animation - Test 0001



Hi, In this animation, I attempt to have the ball smash through the Tomb roof.

Unfortunately, the ball bounces when it impacts with the roof.

If anyone has any ideas about how to improve this, please don't hesitate to chime in.

The smashed slab is really spectacular. I would orbit the camera around the scene to showcase the damage after initial impact, the angle gets a bit boring after a while

hey,

@Kanga why is the simulation so slow? have you just got the friction really high? and also where are the shattered pieces coming from?

@Rielaiz this looks like a rayfire advert, in which i mean that the pieces all look very generically shattered. I think the first thing i would look at is what kind of material you are trying to capture. And then go and view some reference footage of that particular material in a similar situation. The pieces are all very similar in size, try and vary all the pieces up so that you get some large pieces and some very small
