4D Stroke/Particle effect

Hi Im gonna try and recreate the cinema 4D logo with the strokes around it, seen at start up.

The strokes/circles were probably done in photoshop but should be able to be reproduced in AE no?

If you have a look at the screen shot - any ideas of best way to make em?

Graham

You could make them with masks. Are you making them more 2D or 3D? if 2D masks would work well or even shape layers. Masks give you the ability to feather the edges though, I tend to not use shape layers too often. If 3D you could maybe do them with a ring.
