This one should have been pretty obvious to find. But for some strange reason I didn't find it in the Help file, nor with Google :(
For now I'm not interested in modeling in Messiah (assuming it can model). All I want is to animate a mesh I made in Blender.

I would appreciate it very much if anyone would share some info on this.

Hi. I am trying to follow the tutorial about "rigging" the character "Butch".
Everything works fine, untill I try to do this: (Next, select the Hand_Left bone and turn on Calculate IK for it, then select IK_Goal_Hand_Left for its Goal. You should notice that the arm will jerk over to the null as soon as you do that.)

When I try this, nothing happens, no arm movement, nothing.

(The IK_ Goal_Hand_Left) does not seem to work.

Please, what am I doing wrong?

i'm having messiah 5 for mac os running in tablet mode. Problem is the interface rotating around way too far as long as i'm moving my pen. I already enabled tablet mode under the key command manager. Hello,
I trust this will not be considered as "fluff" !!

Have been attempting to register at the above without success. Have You ?

After completing app to join and hit Submit I get the message that an email has been despatched to me . It does not arrive. Not in spam folder. Tried three different email addresses.....same result.

Would just like to know if this is happening to others, as it is not possible to make contact to ask pmG. No support at the moment.

Not blocked by my Anti-Virus Software.

The software looks interesting, particularly the rigging/animation... And at $40... But I'm having problems.

I did the "dare to share" but it seems I can't get the code to work. I don't know if it's because I'm linking to my C:\ drive instead of a thumb drive or what? (Personally, I'd prefer the C:\ drive because I only plan on using it on one computer and would rather have my quite-limited number of USB ports available for other things.) Also I haven't heard back from support on the issue, and it's been a bit over a week since I sent them this question.

I followed the instructions given, used the Key ID generated by the installer (blurred out in pic above), and then put that into the user-key page on the PMG:Messiah website, and then made the .txt file that goes in the root (C:\) directory. So what else is there? Could it be the name I use to log into my computer, encoding of the .txt file (ANSI, unicode, etc.), etc.?

Is it just me, or are there some problems with the "dare to share" launch? There's also more than one version to download, does this deal supposed to unlock things (like time limit) on the demo or work with the full one? Hey there, I bought messiah last week and have some very basic questions. For example i often run into the problem that I zoom in with alt + middle mouse click (by accident) and that the focal length of my perspective view seems to change than. How can I undo that?

Another thing is whats the shortcut for moving in perspective view. It seems that all the tutors use the GUI to move around.

It has been I while since I've sent out some animation on the world wide web, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy
After Plankton Invasion I decided to start my own little company called THURISTAR, with the idea to finance and produce indie shorts and series with my 2 partners - this is the first of hopefully more to come

Its finally out! Greg Malick has done a really great job. An elegant solution to an invaluable method of dealing with animation originating in messiah but ending up elsewhere. Hope you can all check it out and let me/us know what you think.

Can Messiah do everything that MotionBuilder can do?

I'm using Motion Builder right now to edit our mocap files. I've seen the new update for Messiah and am very impressed. I like the dynamics, point edit, render engine and fact that it supports bvh, fbx and collada.

I need to know if Messiah can handle editing mocap tracks like MotionBuilder. MB you can load a track and then animate a rig to change the mocap tracks if needed. What is the workflow for editing mocap in Messiah?
