I'm working on some new animated material, and tried to use the CGUploader.jar to post the FLV version to my portfolio.

However, despite filling in every section correctly, and my username/pw no problem, it wouldn't let me upload, (button was greyed out).

My java platform is up-to-date. However, the CG Uploader version I was using was from 2011.
So I went to the 'video upload guide' on CGWiki, and went to download it again.

But now the link to download the CGUploader.jar tool just gives a 404 error.


At this point, I don't seem to have any way to upload animated footage - which is one of the main reasons I pay for membership.
I sent an email to info@cgsociety, but no response.

The only difference at my end, is that the last time I uploaded video footage, I was using firefox as my browser, now I'm using chrome.

Hi guys,
my most recent image 'Nazarenos de semana santa' submitted to CG talk was accepted a couple of days ago and showed in the Editor's Showcase - 3D
Since this morning the image is no longer there, I suppose the staff decided to remove it from that gallery, I don't understand why it was accepted and then removed... I wonder if it is the case my image was 'reported as bad post' due to a similarity with KKK costumes

Hello,

I hope this is the right place to post this, if not I apologize. I recently submitted 2 pieces of artwork for consideration in the 2D Gallery and one was placed in the Latest Work - 2D gallery and the other was rejected (although I think I read on another thread that you don't reject them anymore so I have no idea why). Here's the piece that was posted:

Now here's where the problem starts. For a day or two all was ok, the thumbnail in my portfolio gallery lead to the thread where it was posted. But now when you click on the thumbnail in my portfolio gallery it goes to another piece of artwork... the one that was rejected. That piece now appears twice in my gallery. I also have no way to delete or resubmit the artwork since it does not even appear in my gallery management section.

If i download back my file from gallery the color profile is missing. I did a "quick search" for CGPortfolio with my name "Henrard" and I found two of my old accounts.

On am using Mac and Safari. The threads at the top are the most current, but I would like this to be the reverse....Oldest on top.

Hi!

This is my original account from 2002. I created another in 2006 using the name "mikeboers" (which is the name I would like to use from now on).

Today I finally managed to log back into this one, so I decided to try to use it instead.

I attempted to shift this account to be "mikeboers" instead by using the form at http://portfolio.cgsociety.org/manage/account.php on the "mikeboers" account and changing it to "mikeboers2", and then changing this one ("BoERS") to "mikeboers.

The first change went OK, but I cannot change this one to "mikeboers" now because "Username is already in use".

(My apologies is this is convoluted.)

Can someone help me sort this out?
