Hi All,<br />
forgive me if this is in the wrong section but it is an emergency and I figured people in this forum might notice it faster. <br />
<br />
I will pay you for the work. So bascially I need someone to help me light and render 4 camera views.. will pay $$$ but need it ready in one week  for a presentation in school. I study architecture in Italy but have other work and model building to do all night. My cinema 4d is giving me errors and I don't have time to waste in trying to figure it out. <br />
<br />
The model is ready to go, textured (might need your quick editing to get it better), camera views saved etc... All I'd like is a lit and rendered image of the 4 views in HighDefinition size. NOTE: You do not have to spend too much time .<br />

        Here's the result of the time I spent in MARI.<br />
        The concept is ready since one month though ... I had absolutely no certainty in participating thoroughly until last saterday, which became a bit short haha. But I gave a go, and here are some shots of different materials ... so, not as final submission. For that reason, I spent some more pleasure-time in tuning some shots.<br />
        <br />
        By the way, the tool is absolutely amazing.<img src="images/smilies/surprised.gif" border="0" alt="" title="" class="inlineimg" /><br />
        After some struggling with the established workflow through other apps, some major tools quickly become as handy as one would dream of I guess. Other exceptional tools or functions are missing though. Prolly won't take long to get them within the next release.<br />
        Really impressed with the texture cache swapping and with the overall huge fileweight handling.<br />
     <br />
        Thx Mr. Plouffe for the inspiring character, and to The Foundry, for that robust tOooooOOoool.<br />

  Overall I think Mari is awesome and glad I got motivated to really learn it. Had alot of fun playing with all the options and seeing how much I could get out of it through just hand painting the color maps and using a photo/hand paint mix for the bumps(paint through/spline warper combo is so handy). Would like to try it out on some more human skin in the future.]]></description>

Hello everyone!<br />
       <br />
       I wish I could have finish the Dezkin and post my WIP's during the last weeks but as most of us, i assume, free time is always a luxury. <br />
       Anyway, here is my take on him and some thoughts regarding the software, workflow, character.<br />
       <br />
  I have got very hooked into mari's interface after a few hours and the workflow was something i very much liked since it is pretty straight forward and it allowed me to focus on the task and the task only.<br />
  It performed well on my machines (dual quad xeon with 8 gb ram, nvidia gtx 460, and thinkpad i7 with 8gb ram, nvidia quadro nvs 3300). I have got my freezing moments when maya and mari were opened at the same time but i am sure that with a dedicated system it would rock.<br />
        <br />
  The character was a bit of a challenge to me since it incorporated some anatomical features  and proportions that were very inspiring.<br />
  To me, looking at his hands and legs proportions, he was more of a <a href="http://www.antonyandthejohnsons.com/" target="_blank">Anthony and the Johnsons</a> fan than a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ratm" target="_blank">RATM</a> one, an avid coffee drinker who would prefer the company of fellow artists. Very much into politics and constant citing from <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosa_Luxemburg" target="_blank">Rosa Luxemburg</a>'s work. I couldn't see the battered warrior's &quot;shell&quot;. I could only see it's spirit, portrayed every weekend with talent and passion at the Imperial Galactic Theater on Saturdays and Sundays.<br />

I'm treating this less like a competition and more like a learning experience. I do hope to finish it in time though!<br />
<br />
There's so many questions I want to ask using this program. <br />
<br />
Is there snap rotation during navigation? <br />
<br />
How can we go about making crisp edges like for fabric seams? Is there a bezier like tool? <br />
<br />
Is there layer effects functions like you get in photoshop - like inner glow? if not what's the best way to do such things in Mari.<br />
<br />
I have started my texturing but it's a little all over the place as I'm getting used to the software. Here's a rough paint over of what I have in mind!<br />
