Latest Update: Coloring WIP: work in progress


I haven't finished obviously, but, this is the composition where its headed. Any critiques on the placements of figures and the explosion would be great. The explosion is only a temporary fix and is just a smeared photo off the web. The final explosion will look something like this but, hand painted. Any comments on color combinations would be a help as well. Thanks.

Latest Update: Final Image: No Looking Back


Well, this is the most time I can spendon it, another hour and a half into the picture and I'm pretty much out of free time to work on the project. I had wanted to add a rocket-boost effect to the bottoms of the mecha and refine the motion effects more, but this is the most time I can spend in the allotment I was given on it. Having joined the competition this week, I think my results are pretty good despite the short amount of time I had.
