Hey guys,

I'm a freelance artist based out of Los Angeles. I'm looking for a developer who can program a plugin for Nuke using the NDK. It could also be an OFX plugin. This plugin is supposed to displace pixels much like the iDistort node in Nuke. I'm willing to hire somebody to create this. How would I go about finding someone?

Hi, I am trying to get OpenSubDiv working on a CentOS 6 workstation. As long as I disable adaptive mesh, all is fine and working with the interfaces that come with OpenSubDiv (such as the glutviewer). For processing, I can choose between CPU/OPENMP/CUDA without problems, so the necessary libraries seem to be working fine. I can also integrate it into Maya without problems. But as soon as I try to enable adaptive meshing, I get crashes. Does anyone else have a similar problem or any suggestions for a solution? Thanks

Hi all,

i hope my post is here at the right place! If not i apologize in advance. Please bear also in mind that i'm no programmer and only like to learn to properly compile freely available code.

My interest as 3D hobbyist lies also in remeshing stuff and especially in creating Voronoi meshes.

A suitable framework which allows such stuff is GEEX which is from this project:

GEEX

and the source code can be found here:

http://subversion.assembla.com/svn/gx_f/

So what i did , i installed Microsoft Visual Studio Express 2010, Cmake, CGAL and boost and when
compiling the project i get the following error(s) at the end:

(unresolved external symbol __imp____gmpq_clear in function “public: __thiscall CGAL::Gmpq_rep:: ˜Gmpq_rep(void)” etc.

So if anyone has a bit of time and could help me possibly out with what is going wrong here
i would greatly appreciate it!

Best regards
Hi guys!
This, maya tool, is a series of MPxLocatorNode built in OpenGL and integrated on PyQT interface.
More information:
when you create the first locator by default, if you don't fill the "locator name" on line edit, the name is "locator_01". Most important, if you change the name please use underscore and a trunk of alphanumeric characters, i.e. "CTRL_spine_001_C". I created a method to check the string and to set one more unit if the object exists.
Four nodes are registered on plugin: clCircle,dfBox,dfCilinder,clSphere.

The video below shows different kinds of shapes.

Custom Locator Tool

Soon I'll share the plugin.
Any critics and comments are welcome.
Don't esitate to contact me for any further information.

Ciao!

I have two problems i couldnt figure out why is it happening..

I have function ImgplaneDone() declared at global level

but when I try to call the function from within the class like this

Even though the ImgplaneDone() is at the same level as main() function is (not inside main function)
I get error , the weirdest thing is i only get error if I run the script like this

import setimgpln
setimgpln.main()

but if i load it in the script editor and press ctrl + enter then evrything works fine.,...

the second problem I couldnt understand why is it happening I have created an instance of the class that contains GUI framework and call the function create from main() function,

Now even though I have this code at the end

i still have to make a call like setimgpln.main() from shelf button or command line at bottom instead of just setimgpln.

Hello. I am writing an IK solver for a 3D rendering engine that I am designing. My solver works correctly for the most part, but sometimes it will make the animation look jerky or completely spazz out (this usually happens when the joints have to bend over each other more).

This is my solver function:

The UpdateIK() function uses this algorithm to update the bone's combined transform:

Here is a video example of how the IK will be jerky or spazz out. Look at the left leg. The video is the model's bone structure.
